International shipping procedure

VERSEAS works together with 4 international shipping partners to provide the best possible service. This means, depending on the clients location, we select the most efficient partner for the standard shipping option to get the package delivered as soon as possible. VERSEAS has a contractual agreement with DHL, Fedex, UPS and STJ. The express shipping option uses DHL- or Fedex Express to have the package delivered in an accelerated transit time. 

Once an order is placed, the designer will be notified instantly to place the item(s) in a VESEAS package. The selected shipping partner will then pick up this package at the designers studio within two business days. After arrival at the shipping partners HQ, the order will be double checked with our team before international shipment.

Each order will receive an international tracking code to follow the transit. 
This code will be included in the order confirmation email as well as instructions on how to track the package. 

Standard and Express shipping details for each region can be found in the chart below. We are very confident in our international shipping speed and security. However, the days in this chart are estimations which means your delivery may experience a delay. In this case you will hear from us within two business days.

Import Taxes & Duties
All import tax and duty fees will be covered by us. If you are charged any duty/tax fees for your order, please contact us and include a copy of the invoice so we may settle the charges.

Customs & Regulations
Your local customs office may require additional documents and time to clear your package, which may delay the estimated delivery time. You are responsible for checking your local postal regulations for restricted items, as we cannot be held liable for any items that are not accepted into the specific destination or region.

United States orders
By placing an order with us, you acknowledge that this sale occurs outside the United States, and that you are importing your order for non-commercial (personal) use. You also acknowledge that you will be listed as the importer for US Customs and Border Protection purposes and that your order will be imported into the United States in accordance with the necessary customs requirements.

To simplify this process, your order indicates your agreement to authorize VERSEAS to appoint a designated carrier/customs broker, where applicable, as your unpaid agent for customs purposes by executing a power of attorney applicable to a single noncommercial shipment. Your order serves as an electronic signature indicating your agreement to the following, as required by US Customs and Border Protection:

“The designated carrier/customs broker is hereby authorized to execute, as an unpaid agent who has knowledge of the facts, pursuant to the provisions of section 485(f), Tariff Act of 1930, as amended, the consignee’s and owner’s declarations provided for in section 485 (a) and (d), Tariff Act of 1930, as amended, and to enter on my behalf or for my account the goods described in the attached invoice which contains a true and complete statement of the facts concerning the shipment.”

Your authorization permits the carrier/customs broker to file the customs entry on your behalf for any order that is over $2,500, or otherwise requires formal entry.
