Return Policy

Because of overseas shipment, in most cases, we want to limit returns as much as possible. Accepting returns on every order would result in more flights and therefore cause more damage to our eco system. VERSEAS wants to keep flight emissions as low as possible but still give Asian designers the ability to sell their collection to the rest of the world. 

That's why we encourage our clients to sell items that are no longer wanted on second hand platforms such as Depop, Ebay, Vinted, Facebook groups and others. VERSEAS has its own Facebook group where you can sell or trade items from our designers to other members. By doing so, they are helping decrease unnecessary flight transport. 

Depending on your location, the return has to be sent to our Brussels or Chinese office. Contact us first before taking any steps. 

In case this is not an option, VERSEAS allows returns on certain cases.

Requirements:

  • Returns are only available with orders over 150€.
  • Return shipment fees are the responsibility of the customer. We will not provide return labels or refund shipping fees. When the product arrives at the VERSEAS studio there will be a full refund of the order. We will however help our client in finding the right shipping partner for the return.
  • Please ensure all returned items are well packaged. If returning footwear, please make sure the shoebox is packed with an outer layer. As the shoebox is part of the product, we will not accept returned footwear with a damaged shoebox.
  • Lingerie and swimwear must only be tried on over your own undergarments. We will not accept any returns that have been worn or are soiled.
  • All original tags must still be attached to the garment(s). Be mindful of deodorant, makeup or perfume that may rub off, and beware of jewelry that may catch or tear fabric.
  • If you have requested for a refund, the original shipping fee and taxes/duties of your order will not be refunded.
  • Upon dispute, VERSEAS reserves the right to make the final decision on all returns cases.

Refunds

Once the returned merchandise has been quality checked and approved, VERSEAS will issue a refund to the original method of payment and a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you. Please note that it can take up to 5 business days to process the refund. It may take your financial institution additional time to process the transaction and update your bank statement.

Exchanges

VERSEAS does not offer direct exchanges. We ask that you return the merchandise for a full refund and place a new order for the preferred item(s) at your earliest convenience.

Damaged items

Every item should arrive without any flaws, we want our customers to love their purchase. If you receive an item in a flawed or damaged condition, or if it doesn’t quite match the description on site, please contact our Customer Service at contact@verseas.co as soon as possible. We will arrange a return and process a full refund for the defective item.
